Drawing inspiration from the FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team's Springfield Armory Professional 1911, this series introduces eight new models that embrace both modern optics compatibility and a first-time caliber expansion to include 9mm options. Each model in the new TRP lineup is crafted for the discerning firearm enthusiast. Notably, the pistols boast hand-fitted frames and slides, offering optimal precision and performance. This meticulous process ensures the match-grade barrels and forged stainless steel components provide users with unparalleled quality. The latest TRP AOS models are equipped with the innovative Agency Optic System, a result of Springfield Armory’s collaboration with Agency Arms. Offering a choice between two configurations, Springfield Armory delivers both a full-size 5” variant with a robust steel frame and a lightweight 4.25” Carry Contour (CC) model with an aluminum frame. The pistols are available in sleek Cerakote finishes of black or Coyote Brown, supporting both .45 ACP and 9mm chamberings.
