Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. has successfully acquired Anderson Manufacturing, a Kentucky-based manufacturer of firearms and accessories. This strategic purchase includes the acquisition of Anderson's manufacturing facility and machinery, which positions Ruger to expand its production capabilities and broaden its product lineup.
The facility, located in a region favorable to firearms manufacturing, is expected to contribute significantly to Ruger's expertise in producing firearms and aftermarket parts. Additionally, Ruger plans to integrate the skilled workforce at Anderson Manufacturing into its operations, which is anticipated to strengthen its ability to deliver high-quality service and products to its customers.
Notably, Ruger will not continue the Anderson Manufacturing brand or its firearms products. Instead, the focus will be on integrating Anderson's capabilities within Ruger's existing operations. This move is aimed at launching new products, expanding Ruger's existing product lines, and developing its accessories business.
